So, between the 6 quart and the 8 quart, as a general rule of thumb I’d say that the 6 quart size is your best bet unless you have a larger family or ravenous teens, in which case the 8 quart might be better. I usually utilize a rice cooker for this so I was interested to see if I’d get similar results from the Instant Pot.
